This is a demonstration of charts that use a scatter plot to make a speedometer style guage for management dashboards. the chart is a scatter plot with a range of +5 to -5 with a zero axis.u000au000athe chart is auto-ranging. enter any value for the reading and max.u000au000ai made this plot auto-ranging by using a formla for the text in the speedometer, and i display the value for the needle reading in the center of the dial. i also show a formula for determining the needle position.
